Looking for an early elementary, year-round resource for speech therapy to assist classroom inclusion? The Seasonal Fill-in-the-Blank Stories bundle offers 40 seasonal “mad lib” style stories (10 for each season), with place markers for nounsverbs, and adjectives, helping students practice language skills in a playful, creative way.

Stories have been written for a 2nd - 3rd grade reading level.

Each seasonal set will include:

  • 10 Fill-in-the-blank stories, each with an illustration
  • Seasonal-themed word lists sorted by noun, verb, adjective
  • Worksheets to guide vocabulary selection for each story

How It Can Be Used in Speech Therapy:

  • Articulation practice: Highlight the seasonal words that contain target sounds (e.g., /s/ or /r/) and have students practice them in context within the stories.
  • Vocabulary building: Guide students through the process of selecting appropriate nouns, verbs, and adjectives, expanding their vocabulary and understanding of word usage.
  • Grammar skills: The fill-in-the-blank format encourages students to focus on parts of speech, reinforcing grammatical rules while creating fun and imaginative stories.
